“Fanastic landscape for a triathlon - It was sad that there were no medals at the finish line, they were brought later and given by request. Also the finish line could have been more visible. People were standing around at the finish line though many participants still cycling or running on the course. Signs with the number of km would have been nice as well as clear turning point signals. In general room for improvement but very nice organisers and staff.”

“A good and challenging event - It was a great event, the weather made things very difficult and the marshalling/signage could be improved. I understand it is only the second time this event has taken place, and there was a huge increase in numbers this year. Overall, it was good but there are some improvements to be made. I'm not sure I would do it again, due to location, but otherwise it was a good and hard course, so felt a sense of achievement after that bike ride!!”

“Friendly Atmosphere - This is a very low key event, I really enjoyed it. I suggest that organisers to provide banana, oranges at the water station as well. ”

“Good plan - poor execution - The organization and execution of the transition area and the finish line was poor. Athletes were confused about where to go. Marshals on the course did not seem aware that there were different distances and several runners were made to run too long. Missing marshals on the bike course meant seriously dangerous situations on a course that was supposed to be closed to traffic. The surroundings were scenic, in spite of the poor weather, but the execution of the plan could have been much better.”

“Great event - Really enjoyed the day. Only concern was traffic on bike course. After two very near misses I really believe the bike course needs to be cordoned off with cones like Ironman Dubai. It simply is an accident waiting for a time to happen. The bike course is lovely but extremely dangerous in its current state. Someone is going to get hurt and I hope not seriously. Am sure this is local authorities but if they want to attract races they need to shape up. ”

“Great Course, Good Organisation - A great event with one of the best triathlon courses I have seen in the UAE. Unlike most other events the course is not laps based which makes it both interesting and challenging. The bike course is a fun challenge with some hills and turns and the run is nice along the waterfront. Traffic management could have been better, but that is more with local authorities than organisers. Breakfast is nice with prize giving which makes it a nice social event as well. Definitely recommended.”

“Great Community Event - A great effort by all who supported, Sharjah Police the Emirati volunteers and the whole vibe of the series. This was my first one but I'd come back and do it again. Clever move to reduce the cycle component due to wind.”

“Amazing Yet One Important Suggestion - The Event & Organizers - 5-Star Rating!!! ONLY suggestion I nearly hit the rear wheel of a moving super-long heavy trailer that not only tried to overtake me during the downhill segment of the cycling race, when he drove into the lane I was driving and then applied the brakes as there was a roundabout ahead. It would be nice if something could be done about the traffic being permitted during the race for our safety. ”
