“Awesome run - Awesome race and thank you to the organisers for a great event. The only thing that could have maybe been improved is the route signage or marshalling, but only at the end on the sand section where it was difficult to follow the correct route. ”

“Quality - Great event. Only issues for me were (and none were major): Race pack collection was a bit inconvenient. Race route was slightly unclear at one point. Nobody told me to hang around and collect my trophy. Otherwise absolutely mint. Great facilities. Great provisions. Lovely people. Cheers. Oh yeah - my mate wanted a t-shirt. Other than that all good! ”

“My favorite course in Dubai - Really great race from registration to post-race. Really nice pre-race communications, easy packet pickup, and great giveaways in the swag bag. Also really appreciated the shop discounts offered on packet pickup days. I love the Faldo course, and although running on sand for the last part isn't ideal, I can see that it can't be helped. Overall a great event and I would definitely do it again next year! ”

“Disappointed of this event - Although I had high hopes for this event, it turned out to be not as good as I thought. The course was the worst as I had to run on Interlocks rather than asphalt or soil, and I suffered muscle aches because of it. I was also very surprised that the all meat sandwiches offered after finishing the race contained Bacon. I think that the food organizers should have taken into account Muslim racers. I wont run this race again unless the organizers would change the course.”

“An awesome event for a beginner - It was my first 12km run and I can say that I really had fun in this event. I've finished the race in good condition with the help of the organizers, from the starting to finish line. I also enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the route in Emirates Golf Club while running that made it one of the factors in finishing the race. Good job guys!”

“Well organised and great distance! - Very well organized! Registration and timing were smooth and fast. Good distance this year with a first 12K loop. Marshals were helpful and encouraging, as well as support stations, thank you. Great breakfast and good giveaways (lucky draw). Overall well done and good value for money. Nice medal too! “Tough Course - Weather and time was good. I dont like the sand (loose) trail. Portalets should ne next to the event area and not at the gym. Its quite far. Maybe next time T-shirts would be a good giveaway.”

This caused issues last year and again this year for the pack in the front (except for the the lead runner who was far ahead and following the bike). Please, a few more marshals and course signals to become a favouri”

Would have been perfect if there were a few more marshals or signage between 9k and 11k because it got a little confusing then. Also water bottles at the finish line.”
