Chciałem nieć zdjęcie z całego podium z innymi zawodnikami z danej kat. i z organizatorami !!! a tak po mojej interwencji stałem na podium ale sam, jak był by tylko jeden zawodnik. Po za tym maraton w miłej atmosferze, gorąco polecam.”

“Senic marathon organized by runners - I did very much enjoy the participation, all marshals and even omani police securing the way where very friendly and cheerfull. I liked as well the finishing area under the palm trees at interconti hotel. The toilet which i used at qurum park during the event was the cleanest public toilet i discovered at 12 years at middle east :). I also liked the spectators, the guy with the guitar at km 37 and many more. Alltogether it was an very pleasant event.”

“The best way to see Muscat! - The route is very beautiful and unique. I just wish I had stopped to take photos of the mosques, beach and Qurum Park. Fantastic having breakfast together when most of the the runners had completed the race. I also like the fact, I was once "ahead" of the first place marathon runner. (Beyond the control of race organisers??). Two lines for the buffet would have speeded things up instead of such long queues, and more options for vegetarians......but next time I'll bring my own.”

“Great event and atmosphere - Race went very smoothly. The presence of the police & marshals plus the blue line all very helpful to keep to the route which I think for anyone not living in Muscat is quite complicated. Only issue with the event was the quality of food on offer by Intercontinental Hotel Catering for breakfast and their atrocious organization for delivering the food. People had to queue for more than 20 minutes for breakfast. A single line with single table for 500 people is just not on. ”

“Great coastal views .... Bit quiet with spectators - We had a great weekend I ran whilst the family enjoyed the beautiful scenery. Not my first marathon but the first in Oman. Some of the route had terrific coastal views. The only thing I found difficult towards the end was the quietness.....Could do with some more supporters. The marshals were lovely and very encouraging. I would do it again and I think this will grow to become as big as Dubai.”

“Very well organized and impressively conducted - All the participants should invariably be approached through e-mail informing them about the commencement date of the event. The route in the Qurum Park was properly marked and marshaled, however, going out and again entering the park, made it tiring. Is it possible to cover that distance by extending the run in between. ”
