“Well Organised social event - Another good event well organised - a lot of time planning preparing and delivering a smooth mornings event. However am getting tired n fed up entering events/races where I dont stand a chance in hell of even getting close to winning thanks to the wide age gap catagories.. so frustrating and disappointing.”

“Well done and many thanks to the volunteers - One of my colleagues got lapped and had to retire on the race even though he was on target to finish on time. I think some of the faster riders should be in the elite race. Other than that a well organized, thoroughly enjoyable event.”

“Appeals only to a narrow x-section of cyclists - Travelled from Dubai for an enjoyable 50k - will not so do again unless things change. Difficulty finding place to park near enough toilet after 1:45hrs in the car. The whole DNF timing thing and getting lapped and the honest truth I was not quick enough for the young racers..... I would have better doing my normal 85k at Al Qudra. ”

“Fun - Enjoy lots of it. Well organized. - The race course is fantastic - even there is a bottle neck on turns (after bridge) - but manageable. Not much giveaways - A souvenir t-shirt will be a good item - to commemorate that I participate in this good, exciting and fun race. Thanks to event organizers.. cheers. ”

“Good - discriminates against average riders. - Open event. Last year I finished the full course - I probably came 65% down the field. This year I would have finished just within the hour cut-off. I was lapped and prevented from completing the last lap. This was in the rules. The strength of the entry to the Open event must have increased significantly. My beef is that I along with 19 others was recorded DNF with no time. Solution - distinguish 6 and 5 lap finishers with a time. Without change there is no point in my entering next year.”

“A well organised, multi race event - All in all. A good morning of racing. I haven't seen where the times are posted yet. I know they have been as I saw someone else had posted theirs. Disappointed that the masters men got prizes and medals where as the masters ladies only got a rather condescending pat on the back as recognition.”

“Not for casuals - Was expecting a "community" event to be a bit more casual. This turned out to be a full-on cycle race with the "slow" peloton running at 35 kph+. Still good fun all the same.”

“First time to ride an event like this. - I really enjoyed the event the first time i have taken part in anything like this, my only comment is, i only completed 5 laps as the faster riders had already finished which i feel was a little unfair and when i looked at my time it was DNF which i would of completed if not told its finished. It was a community ride for fun and the slower people were not given the time to finish what they set out to do. I did enjoy the experience and yes would do it again and try n be faster! Thank you”
