There is however a small room for improvement. The giveaway of shirts was not proper. I ended up with no shirt, although one of organizers had taken my bib number to send a shirt later. “Unique camel medal and lots of donuts! - Perfect event end to end, from the organization to the finish along with the unique camel medals. Great support from all the volunteers and marshals on the support stations. Course with amazing scenery early in the morning for a 10 miles run. Timing and Photo service were prompt! Delicious donuts at the end of the race :).”

“Cyclist for leader, keeping lapped runners on left - One suggestion, as its an event where people are getting lapped by faster runners.. for the top athletes I suggest a cyclist that ensures slower runners keep left. I saw one guy, think he was 2nd or 3rd nearly fall over as a slower runner moved in front of him...If a cyclist was there asking people to keep right maybe would be safer all round....I think race notes said to keep right. other than that an excellent event which showed up a big weakness in my training.. HILLS.... lol”

“First-timer - thoroughly enjoyed! - Great event. This is my fifth event in Dubai, but the first one with Mirdif Milers. Great, more challenging course, excellent logistics. Just the pack delivery could have been improved, the queue process was not very logical and some people were confused as to where it started and if you needed to provide your name first or not. Was there a photo service? I didn't see the pictures... All else was great, and would certainly recommend this race (and run it again myself!)...”

“Beautiful and challenging course. Well organised! - After the extravagant high of the AD Striders half, the MMD10 seemed like a back-to-basics kind of race. There were no waterpark tickets, no showers nor a wealth of giveaways. Instead, there was a unique, hilly and literally breath taking course that challenged every fibre of my body. Very picturesque park. Good organisation. So glad I participated in this event and would definitely do it again! Even better if there were a) lap based timings b) better medals c) photo service?”
