“Huge bright color first buoy...tiny, last buoy ! - All the focus is on the beginning of the race and on the guys at the front of the race. Back of the race, no one interested, very little guidance from the one canoe guy who is trying to cope with the tired, not top of the form lost racers at the tail of the race...Sad ! Also the first buoy is a tall bright color one...towards the end the last buoy was a tiny triangular buoy that the average tried guy cannot see after half an hour swimming... Wrong approach. Jetski in the front, nothing in back”

“Great job all round - I was a little disappointed with the organisation at the finish. When i finished i got out of the water a swarm of people pushed past me, thus my time was not registered correctly. These things happen, and it is probably more of a reflection of the impatient participants who's nationality i need not reveal. In addition, it would be great if there was a little more advertising. Great job and i hope there is another race next year.”

“Averagely organized Event - Being the first time I guess it needed more attention to detail and broadcasting specifics to participants. being from Dubai, it was a little difficult to find the exact location of the event, signage was almost non existent, timing chips were not given! The course was quite awkward to swim around too. But whatever, at least the effort was made by the organisers which is appreciated. Thanks.”

“Great open water swim in a world champion setting! - Just one comment - about half way through the mile swim, the exhaust from one of the jet skis was pretty intense. For about three or four minutes, I felt like I was inhaling the fumes from the craft. The lifeguards in the kayaks were fantastic help to keep us on course! Great event - thank you!”
