“lack of detailed infomration - Was disappointed to see a DNF in my results. I had heard that some people had gone wrong on the track, but wasn't convinced I was one, but judging my the time, I must have been. The directions were very poor. You should have given a layout of the course beforehand, either by email or instruction the morning of. The start was also quite delayed, which was a shame. There was little or no signage anywhere around the event (bib numbers, timing tags, event area, etc.). It was all a bit scattered. ”

“I would never ever participate in this event - I will never recommend any one to participate in this event . I had met with an accident and had a surgery and the support from the organizers were very poor. my Bike was missing and this was informed to the organizing team through my friends but organizing committee never bothered to check the bike . Finally I have to come out from the hospital to check for my bike which was luckily found from the same place I met with an accident . No insurance support also from the organizing committee ”

“A fun event in new environment - Sadly the signage for the parking and event area was poor so I ended parking close to the starting line and only heard about the medal and event area because another participant told me to go get my medal. There was no signs pointing to it nor any information. Also on the first lap, when we were supposed to uturn on the bridge there were no marshals so a big bunch, incl. my self, just kept going straight as we did not know we had to turn. Other than that, really nice event.”

“Good Idea, organisation needs some work - Loved the city centre riding on closed roads. A few issues.... 1 better pre race information, where to park, timings and a route map. 2 a quick brief to all the security and race staff might help, nobody seemed to know anything. 3 route Marshall’s on the first lap were non exsistent. Nobody seemed to know where we were going. On the plus side the Finish area was well run and a few food vans was a good idea.”

“Use The Loo Before You Come - Pros: The race location was great, zipping through business bay. Refreshing from the usual Qudra or District One. Dubai police closing streets for us CONS: No porta potties or any bathrooms at race location No race info like course map No race briefing 15 min delay to start time No food or drink vendors at start or finish ”

“1st Lap Marshaling` - Due to no 1st Lap Marshaling at the key return point where the timing was, up to 15 of us who were in the group chasing down the 1st group had no idea where to go and ended up opposite Emaar Boulevard. A disgrace bearing in mind this was a quantification race for a a major series. Very poorly organised.”
