“Extremely low quality medal - I have participated in many races, however I haven't seen a finishers medal of such low quality. A medal represents 'identity of the race event', however the same was of extremely low quality and the cost cutting approach was clearly evident. The organizers has to seriously re work on the quality of the medal and learn from other race events happening in Dubai.”

“Good venue but very amateurish organisation - I came to participate in a running event. The compare tried to turn this into a prayer meeting and had clearly never been involved in a sports event before. It is just WRONG to ask the audience to vote for the order results are presented in. Took way too long to present prizes and interviewing everyone is just ridiculous. I left after the 3K bronze medal award because it was taking so long and missed my podium for my age group. ”

“Prize giving took too long. Results were incorrect - 8k run race results took too long to arrive and are still incorrect. The named winner is incorrect. There was no control preventing slow runners finishing on 1 lap and claiming 2 laps as happened with the named winner on hopasports website. The prizegiving ceremony took too long as results were not available and the compare did her best to entertain to cover up for results failings but unfortunately a lot of people felt uncomfortable for those being given the microphone to comment.”

“Okay, but still a way to go - Race was okay, course was easy to follow and measuring was decent, averaged 8,10km for people I asked. Ceremony time was too long, organizers would just keep people entertained. Also found it strange that overall 2nd and 3rd places had no awards, when all age groups had at least trophies up to 3rd place. Trophies got mixed up as well. The 100dhs fee doesn't make sense if you have no race pack (only bib number), should be lower. Winning time is still unknown to me, was not mentioned by organizer.”
