“Last race in a series of outstanding races - Yep, the chaps at RACE.ME have nailed it. Having been a competitive athlete for 40 years I've seen the whole spectrum of events from shoddy and amateurish through to slick and stylish- but this duathlon (and the whole series) was a cut above the rest. While being fun, enjoyable and relatively relaxed (racing is never relaxed on the start line!) it was carefully planned and extremely well organised by a team who are passionate about the quality of the races they put on. I'll be back for more :-)”

“A couple of details away from the perfect event - A very well run event which is a credit to the organizers who clearly have a passion for delivering a quality day out.The race briefing was detailed and the course well marked. D1 is the perfect venue for this! Please use it again, Safer than Hamdan! Only gripe is that the event is very much geared towards the overall series which is fine but if you miss the first 3 races then it is almost pointless entering as even the overall winners on the day were not even acknowledged which is a shame. ”

Could with a Marshall in that position to instruct dim witted adults!”

“Disappointed - I've raced several races in Abu Dhabi including Tri Yas and asics races in Dubai, the marshalling was a disaster. I did not u turn at the correct place whilst running whilst asking no one actually knew. There were no marshalls around the track, so there were women drifting behind their partners and stopped drifting at the one point there was a Marshall which is where the transition was. The briefing was terrible not very clear and asking others they didn't understand either.”

“Perfect Venue for a Duathlon - Once the running track is finally fixed, this will be perfect. So, now we have to get rid of the cheaters. Some guys are really making a science out of drafting! How do we stop it?”

“Good end to the season - Better venue than Hamdan Sports complex and organization was good, plenty of marshaling staff. Didn't quite understand the beefing for short race but might be an idea to upload map with sequences marked up including number of laps. Overall good event although price could be lower!”
