“Very motivating enjoyable for the entire family - I would really like GEMS and Supersports to continue this event every year. It is a great opportunity for parents and children to take part and promote fitness. It was a big motivational factor for me to train and also encourage my son who studies in Gems WSO to take take part and train and we intend to take this ahead and come back and be even more competitive next year. It was held in very festive spirit but I still found it organized very well given the fact that there were a lot of over enthusiastic children and parents with all sorts of questions and complaints. Well done !”

“A fabulous first time experience - I am rating this on behalf of my 9 year old son and have incorporated his comments as well. As a first time participant; he loved the overall experience and was thrilled to finish. However he was a little let down to not get the results before we left and wanted to know his timing in comparison to the rest of his age group. The bike racking area was a bit cluttered with bikes getting entangled while trying to get them out or put them in. As a parent/spectator; I wish there was clear indication as to what we were expected to do once the kids go in, what route we were expected to use to get to the bike out/ run out etc so we didn't miss out on being there in time to see our kid go. Other than that, the whole experience was awesome, the organization was superb and it was nice to see everything going smooth at an event of such magnitude! We certainly hope to be part of many more triathlons in the future.”

“Great way to get novices involved in the sport - Better organisation in the transition bike zone. Marshals were telling cyclists just to rack their bikes or leave on the ground anywhere as they entered the zone post bike making it chaotic and hard to find space at correct rack points, with stuff being thrown to the side.”
