“A brilliant initiative! - A great initiative and would love to see more of these in Dubai! Kids LOVED it... Well organized - great timing, great location, great team overseeing the kiddos during the event as well as in the play area. Well done! Two minor things to look at for the next event: tracking the number of laps the kids complete on the cycle circuit and the quality of the medals (the wire ring connecting the medal and ribbon pulls apart very easily). Thanks again to the team that pulled the event together. Really great to see so many families outdoors in support of kids sport. ”

“A great event for the whole family, we loved it! - Excellent morning and lovely event, we really enjoyed and we are looking forward for the next kid's triathlon! Only one thing was not working, the cycling laps. Some boys did only 2 laps when they were supposed to do 3. Kids were excited and probably couldn't count in a hurry but it was not fare for the kids who followed the rules. Also swimming was more like running in the water for some kids (with younger ones it is ok, but older ones should swim). This all is understandable for us adults but the kids who are following the rules precisely it feels unfair. Anyway, we totally loved the event and we have been talking about it all day and kids are super proud of them selves :) Thank you!!!”

“Fantastic day for the Kids thanks to all involved - Medals could be given out at the finish line when they take tracking band off. Puts a bit of worth into attaining the medal rather than putting it in the bag and giving it before the race even starts. It was unfortunate to see some parents allowing their children to get off their bikes before complete the required laps, not sure how this can be fixed. Uneven swimming lengths for the swimmers closest and furthest from the shore. My kids had a fantastic day, We appreciate all the volunteers. Excellent entertainment for the kids. Thanks again.”

“Excellent event for the kids. Highly recommended - Excellent event. Bike transition and where the riders join competitors already doing laps could do with a little thought. Not a huge problem but if the event attracts more competitors next time it could cause some problems. Also a squarish cycle track so that sharp 180 degree turn required at either end could be avoided may help on safety. organize more and we will absolutely support. Great job. ”

“Great first time event for the kids - Well done, this was a great event. Well organised, loads of support and marshalls, and great turnout for a first time... lovely idea to have the race available for the younger age group as well and to split the boys and girls. It ran like clockwork. If anything, i would say the bike transition area needs a little more organisation and maybe the communication email could have gone on a little earlier with a few more details. Overall though, a massive thumbs up ! ”

“A great first effort, but needs some improvements - Praise to staff for keeping everyone safe and helping kids have fun. Rant because extent of cheating in older groups (not swimming, but kicking off the bottom, only cycling 2 laps)! Podium winners weren't necessarily the correct ones because of this. Signage not upheld ... Eg. Didn't start race where they were supposed to. Marshalls struggled to ensure kids did correct amount of laps. Finally kids were thirsty coming out of the sea and after cycle ... No water available! ”
