“Enjoyed the race :-) - This was my first Desert Road run 10k, and I really enjoyed the race. The course was easy to follow (although, I would have expected to see more marshals). The water tables were perfect, registration was straightforward, quick and efficient. Toilets were close to the start - in fact my overall experience was great. To put icing on the cake, I was able to purchase a coffee to drink - before the start and after the finish. Thanks ”

“More people should try this! - Is a list of results provided anywhere on the website afterwards? Louder music, enthusiastic and interactive MC, more sponsors on board and more stuff to do at the event would make it a better experience as a whole. It looked kind of deserted with an airy atmosphere and I had the feeling it would have been nicer just to go for a run at the park with my own music and friends. In saying all that I'd do it again.More people should try it as well :) Where do I find the photos?”

“I can say it's great... - I hope the next event would have a singlet or shirt together with the race bib or packs for all the runners who would participate in this event...so that it will all nice if all the runners have same shirt or singlet...some of the results are not been posted just like the recent event they missed the page 5 for the 10Km run... that's all... =) but the whole event was really great...thank you..”

“Friends from my gym organised it - Very good event, first time to participate. One benefit was the cost. Dubai has got so expensive, it can be difficult to take part in many events if the race cost is expensive.”

“Improve the race atmosphere - This event certainly has the potential to become a habitual run for both serious and social runners. Bring some live/fun into the race and drop the price a bit to draw families and social groups to the event. Support stations seemed inexperienced, but their friendliness made up for it. To speed up the process, water cups can be filled half only since a full cup is hardly necessary on a 10km, we just spill half of it anyway. Oh, and allow for some entries on race day for the last minute joiners.”

“Good run - Well organised event. Having the race packs available for pickup one day before the event is a good idea and keeps things more organised on the race day. The timing and results service needs to be fast tracked so that online results are available on the same day. There is a long wait for the award ceremony. Medals for all finishers is a nice gesture. I hope to be back in November to improve my timing :-) ”

“Decent Run - Had a good run, although was running late and only just made it to the start line on time, which started dead on 0700. Just a shame we had to wait for ages at the end of the award giving. No idea what my time is and not aware of how to find out. so not the best communication....”

“Correct - - Medal is really small souvenir... no printing of the results at the end people at the stop to give water not trained, not doing it properly....runners dont stop to have water, you need to anticipate...and help them...no support here... should have a little "podium" for pictures timing is not sharp, no fruits or sugar after the finish line ?? no shower ? impossible i guess ? + good spirit, people happy to be here, ambient ok very good to develop running here, thanks for this !! ”

“Overall good and affordable race - It is great to get out there and start the season and helpful that there is a minimum registration fee and everything is pretty straight forward. ”

“A good race to kick off the season - There was a lot of waiting around at the end of the race before the prize giving. This meant that lots of people left because they got fed up waiting. If there It was publicised as being at 8.45am but it was after 9am before it started so that's over an hour for most people. Other than this it's a good race and well organised.”

“Good event again! - Enjoyed the race again, better with new start arrangements. Spectators on the course near the finish were a pain (yes actually stood across the chute entrance) but other than that, all good! I'll be back!”

“Good course POOR management ... Way lot to improve - This is my second time partificapting in this event and it has gone worse compare to first time I ran in 2013. There could be way lot to improve: 1. 2 staff with slower reload time at hydration desk and one of them talking over his cell phone.. really frustrating to see that you won't get enough water during your race !!! 2. course was not marked properly and small signs were placed on ground which were hard to keep track of. 3. Poorly managed. you guys can do better !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
