“Love this race! - I love DDRR! Well organized, friendly , really a fun race!”
“Organised as always - Loving the new medals!
One thing though, lots of younger kids out there this time, any chance you can lower the age to 4? 3km is totally doable and then the kids get to take home a medal as well!”
“Simply Outstanding - First time in EAU, first time in Dubai, first time in a race....very very nice experience!!!”
“A Great "No Fuss - Simple, basic event" - As always a BIG THANK YOU to all the event organisers and volunteers. It is what it is, a simple no frills event that keeps us running. Thanks once again. ”
“Where is the Desert? - Expensive for just a bib, a chip and a timing service.
No refreshment/drinks end of the race
No giveaways (e.g. tshirt, etc...)
and... NO DESERT”
“Waiting for more - Great to have participated in such an event. Especially for me, who is a first time runner, was really motivating.
Keep up the good work! ;)”
“Graet event - I liked the event and the area. It was very friendly enviroment and nice people to meet.”
“Great event! - Thank you!”
“Nice - We are not yet able to know the result.”
“Perfect venue, perfect run - Perfect venue, perfect run ”
“Great morning training - Great race, just some comments to consider for next edition:
- A guide in bike leading the front group will be needed all times.
- Marshalls taken out non registered people as they affected in aid stations.
- Desert Road run... why not adding DESERT in some editions?
- You are ready for half marathon!!!!! What are you waiting for?”
“Nice Race - Enjoyed the race, seemed like there was a cheerful bunch out there! The organizers were keen to keep the queue at the race pack collection down. Maybe next time put the race numbers up a little back from the collection point. That way you don't need to wait for people to look at the list at the desk and you can process everyone else more rapidly. Would have like a more comprehensive race result service. But thanks to all, I had a really great morning!”
“All is spot on other than the results service - Online registration spot on.collecting race numbers the day before excellent parking great. The start unprofessional give details if the start chip works people push thinking they will lose time Water ok but bins could be further away to allow a drink on the run. Course nice and easy. No details of where to hand chips in. Results via photo on Facebook very poor can't read or analyse need spreadsheet. Not enough space here to write full report ”
“Good well organized - Results posting quickly and easier to access (rather than a pdf put online) format will make event overall better”
“It is an OK kind of event. - Good one to participate.
Appreciate if more give would be arranged.
Event fees could be reduced a bit to 100Dhs or less for 10KM.”
“Motivating - Very organized.”
“Good - Good organization right number of participants nice track ”
“Great event and being able to shower afterwards - Love it every time but did miss the bacon sandwiches today!!!”
“Fun - Relaxed, good run course.”
“Great start to the season! - Better organisation than the last time I participated. Course is a little boring. Medals are fantastic!!!”
“Good start to season - Like it today, even a bit more humid day. Not so crowded like April run.
Appreciate change of medals - looks nice.”
“Quite good over all - well organized. - Support stations were well laid out. Only constructive criticism is that it needs a little glossing up in general and pre communications could be improved. The finishing set up needs to be improved- was the only let down. The chip collection was poor and Adventure HQ seemed a little disorganized and unaware - overall it was quite good - no complaints. Well done”
“The course is dull. - I thought there was a lot of room for improvement re the organisation.
My confirmation said i could collect my number the day before - which i tried to do - but when i went on friday noone had any information at all.
The timing chip collection at the end was rediculous.”
