“Great location, well organised - Always a challenging run with the exposed site and little hill, thankfully the sun was covered by cloud for most of the run. The giveaways and medal are average, but then again the cost for the run is low too, so I see that as overall good value. The photographs could be better quality though but that is only a minor complaint.”

“Well organised event - My first time at the Sevens, plenty of room, good parking, facilities ideal and near, course OK, little gradient to keep us honest too and the breeze, temps starting to increase so a little more difficult as seen in mine and several others I had spoken with slower race times.. overall very enjoyable. Except the long wait for the trophy presentations... a lot of people didn't stay to collect prizes... I like the names on race bib, makes the event seem more friendly.”

It was great to see a full spectrum of runners and especially great to see everyone giving it their best from start to finish. It was a shame more people didn't stay for the prize giving as there are a good number of trophies given out for all age groups. Whilst it is a race, it has a fun element to it with the more serious runners being generally polite to the less experienced runners amongst us.”

It's an event run by runners for runners, so they set you off in time and there's lots of trophies to be won! We all know how much runners like trophy potential! Good local event.
