The new medal is great. This is a great event for anyone that wants a 10k time trial and is considerably cheaper than bigger, less well organised runs. “Enjoyable event. - I always enjoy this event, many thanks to Dean and all the organisers and volunteers. It may be a bit more expensive now but the medal is much nicer and, as usual, the trophies are great and appreciated. Timings on the facebook page aren't ideal, I think some people don't know where to find them, and possibly a professional photography company with an option to buy photos might be good. Other than that, despite living in Abu Dhabi now, I will be back.”

“Overall it was a decent event. - The location was good with sufficient parking space. The registration fees is very high as compared to other events in the same category. The race started on time, however prize distribution started 30-40 mins late which was a bit frustrating. ”

“It was an average showing - Course and coordination were sufficiently planned, but nothing beyond that. Pros: enough water and water stations, well marked course. Cons: no warm up, little in the way of atmosphere, days after the race now and still no official timing results.”

“Good, but room for improvement - Registration, pre race communication and bib collection on the morning were all excellent! It was really foggy the morning of the run and I loved running in those conditions! The course was pretty simple, 2 laps of a 5km loop. Unfortunately there was no t-shirt, and no food or sports drinks provided to the runners as they finished. It's 3 days after the event and the results have not been published. This event is cheaper than most, but I wouldn't say it's better value. Improvements can be made”

“Is getting better, still things can be improved - Good atmosphere, organization has improved over the years. Timing service is ok, but the results are published in a format that cannot be sorted, filtered, etc. It will be great to add a field for TEAM. Support stations with water in a plastic cup doesn't work when running fast. Little bottles would be appreciated for faster runners. The presenter in the award ceremony was funny and knew most runners. Course can improve as area has many other options. GOOD VALUE for MONEY”

“A low profile event that can get a lot better - Considering it is a low profile race, lots of positives. However, with a bit more of manpower support, more can be done. Like the medal and trophy giveaways - it makes everyone feel better - can mention the timing as well. Having gone thru' high profile events, DDRR is so easy - just go on race day, pick your bib, run and be back. If only the race timing and photo services can be better (The photographer at the finish had one hand in his pocket & taking snaps like he was faking)!!”

“Great no-fuss run, just small improvements needed - A clean, traffic free course. Good support stations, good signage. Only comment would be that as my first time running this event it wasn't made clear where to deposit the timing tags at the finish line. I saw plenty people just walking off with them because they didn't know where to put them. I left mine on an empty registration table. Had a good run. It's simple and hassle free, which is a positive. ”

“A friendly event to meet other run enthusiaist. - I would suggest that a shuttle service or voluntary car pool to the nearest public transport station to encourage all participant to stay back for the presentation ”

“Good run, struggles against other similar events - Always a good run, the fog today actually helped me by keeping the morning sun away! Plenty of drink station opportunities. I didn't receive any info regarding timings, I had to look on Facebook, and my timing on the list was from the race start not from when I actually crossed the start line. The medal is one of the nicer ones. A sponsor goodie bag at the finish (snacks, etc.) would be nice in lieu of a shirt souvenir.”

“Well organised event. - A great run. However I did not appreciate when I finished the course to.be shouted at by one of the men taking everyone's bib numbers down manually. He could not see the last digit from by bib and shouted at me. Disgusting behaviour. ”

“Timings are most important, I dont know my timing! - First time I am participating. I did X min and X seconds according to my mobile Nike plus. No timing of my running has been mentioned anywhere. What is the use of participating in such events. We join this to get inspiration. If my timing is intimated to me, it would be better.”

“Good Race Overall but not value for money - The race was a good run overall in terms of the location, the climate and the time. Event was organized well, though the main let down was there were no nourishments provided by the organizers after the event accept the water. In all other races that I have participated there has always been a complimentary bag with nourishments in it . Would have also liked an instant access to my race time Hope you look in to that.”

“Poor Organization - In my opinion this event could be better organized in terms of timing tag, course and giveaways!! For instance, I just checked my race result according to the tag I was given and all the information posted on the website is incorrect. It says I finished in 45.42 min and my bib number was 116, however, I actually finished in 44.48 and my number is 177! No difference at all, right?? A friend of mine who ran with me doesn't even has his name on the results list! What a joke, really bad organization”
