“Timing Mystery... - I was running with a couple of girls from work and entered the starting pen quite a bit after them. I must have crossed the start line 5-10 seconds after them and beat both to the finish (albeit Jenna by about 0.5 seconds) however was placed behind her in the results. I just don't understand how the timing worked? If I'd have started in front of her maybe....”

“Water Stations service needs improvement - I passed through two stations but no one was ready with water ( although there weren't many runners queuing for water ) , either to stop and loose valuable time or continue hoping you make it up in coming stations. I pretty sure organizers/volunteers were doing there best , but it wasn't practical enough.”

“One of the best running events - The event is one of the best organised running events that i enjoy to participate in. but would appreciate it if the organiser can have the starting time pulled back by 30 min when the weather temperature and humidity starts rising .”

“THE 3KM WAS ACTUALLY 3.3KM! - Although the 10km was accurately measured, the 3km that my son ran in was not. Two people measured it at 3.3km which is 10% inaccurate and adds roughly one and half minutes to 134 runners' times which is TOO MUCH ! This inaccuracy is correlated by the top runners who ran significantly faster than the time they received. If it is not measured more accurately, this event will not attract the serious athletes to attend. I also hope the start lines were not dictated by the Sponsors?”

“Not the best 10k in town - Loops of the same route is rather boring. An earlier start preferred. It was a tad warm towards the end. I don't understand why the race results are still not published? I know I won't be on page one, but would appreciate understanding the official time! I also found two tags unusual.....premier timing have a much better system. Any feedback on this would be appreciated. Agree the race is good value, but it does lacks in technology. ”

“Not the greatest race in Dubai - More water stations need to be out on the course. Not much in the way of a photo service- most photos on the Facebook page look to be taken with a mobile phone and the rest are blurry. Not much in event giveaways either unfortunately. As far as results... Well I know many people haven't received them. ”

“Good value for money - Friendly atmosphere - This is becoming a good event, improving every time. The best of it is the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Things to improve: - Results in a friendly format - Water not handed over in cups - More photos Overall good value for money. I enjoy the organizer-speaker. We should crack more jokes as he is funny and knows all the runners (the usual suspects). Good to have so many prizes for all age groups.”

“Please focus on ensuring basics. - Firstly - Many thanks to the gentleman who came back to the Ranches because people were waiting though it was past time for Bib collections. Thanks also to all the volunteers who braved the harsh sun and manned support stations. Cribs: The 3K runners had lined up before the 10K runners had all left. I can understand no energy drinks but why no bananas at the finish? This is basic post a run and doesn't cost much. For 120/- the delivery was sub-optimal. And the timings are still not out! Why?”

“Hot, Flat, race in Dubai - The race was early, which was good, because it got hot really fast. The course was flat and did not have much scenery. However, the people were all friendlly. It was a the tining chip system and the race results really needs updating. It would also be great if we got fruits and a juice at the end of the race. The medals were nice. The awards ceremoy was nice with nice trophies. It was nice to see the champions get nice trophies. Overall a good race.”

“Good event, has got better and bigger ! - Thanks to the organizer for going out of the way to assist me in handing over the prize, which i had won but couldn I have attended this event few times and clearly, it has got better with time. I would love to see electrolyte served along with water. ”

“Enjoyable, well organised event. - First time at this event and I thoroughly enjoyed participating. Everything was well organised, there was plenty of much needed water, friendly helpers and I was very happy with my medal/trophy! The course was good and the two inclines made it quite challenging to keep up the pace, which I liked. I didn't mind at all that there weren't any post race t-shirts etc. I brought my own post race snack. The shower facilities were a bonus and so was Costa! Thanks very much to Dean & team.”

“Great event with good fun and nice atmosphere - All fine, nice run. However I am a bit confused by the age categories, not that it concerns me. However, I do believe the age brackets should be "fairer". 21-34 is very big, then there is 35-39, 40-44, 45-50... I think it s too many categories with uneven bracket size... just my personal opinion but once again, it doesn't concern me much, as I would anyway never win a category, just an observation!”

“Expensive, decent course - 1/ Start time is a bit too late. Sun comes up at 6.05am and the race starts at 6.30. Must start at 6. 2/ The race has gotten expensive over the years. Plus no t-shirts, or give aways. 3/ No banana / juice / fruits at the finish line! ”

“Fun run! - I really enjoyed this race. I don't usually care for a loop course, but today I did. It was fun and fast and well organized. I would do this one again. I know there have been comments about not having good enough give aways but I don't run a race for swag. Thank you for the nice medal. Sometimes a shirt is nice to remember the run, especially if there is a cost to the race similar to those that give a shirt, but it's ok by me. Thanks.”

“Great event. Award catergory for 3km needs fixing - Great venue and this time delivery of race numbers was very organised. However I'm confused on why there is a 14 and over carergory for 3km. Yet under 14s were awarded.”
