“Fun event for a good cause - It was a fun novelty to have an indoor event, creating a different kind of atmosphere. The organisers made good use of the conference centre facility. It would have been good to have medals, but I suppose that's extra funds for the charities. Pre-announcements (including from the sponsors) were sadly ineffective as the acoustics destroyed any clarity of the voices. Still, that's a minor quibble....it was a well-run event, with the emphasis on fun, and for a truly great cause.”
