“Great event overall, safe and well conducted. - I appreciate greatly the organization and work which goes into running this event. Thanks to everyone involved. My suggestion for improvement would be: 1. Clarify what people are registering for- intermediate, open, elite categories are not intuitive to everyone! 2. Please have a category where non elite/racing cyclists can get a chance to climb the mountain without first doing 50km. This event is a great chance to cycle the mountain safely and to get a lift back down! Let non racers go! ”

“Windy, hilly and good - The event was well organized apart from the cycle delivery back down to the start line which took a very long time. ”

“Shame about the split start times for men and wome - Few females taking part and yet we had to start after the open men making it very hard to ride with a group. In windy conditions this put us at adisadvantage and as a newcomer to cycle racing it was disheartening watching several large groups of men having an easier time of it! There was no water on the mountain once I got there although a support car drove down after quite some time to offer some. Given the same starting format I would think twice before entering again”

“Enjoyable and Challenging Event - Given this was my first event, I found the event to be well organized and would like to thank the organizers. The route was challenging especially with the 30+ KM/Hr winds; but I managed to complete the 50Km challenge. Regarding the route, the marshallers could have been more directive with the direction to travel since on 2 occasions I made extra kms on erroneous escursions not knowing exactly the direction. Lesson learned. I was very pleased with the overall experience!! ”

“Overall very well organized...fun and safe. - Overall, the event was well organized; however, access to the toilets pre-race was a problem. The line was too long inside. There are some toilets by the kids pool, but they were locked. Finally just gave up because the race was starting.”

“Great event excellent organisation - I really love the fact that it was affordable for most people and yet extremely well organised and run. The finisher medals are a clever design. However there was a mix up with the timing for 2 people retiring from the race and my friend and I missing out on being on the podium and receiving our placing medals. I hope that we may still be able to get these please if possible!? The Al Ain Police were superb! It was fantastic to feel safe on the road! A big thank you to everyone.”

“A grand day out. Many TKS to the volunteers - Fabulous & Iconic, finishing in the clouds!!!. Well marshalled; TKS Police & Sports Council for a closed-road event. Water station, early on climb well placed (riders are going a bit slower here, so tis easier to grab a bottle). Can age category winners get a mention, but we don’t need a trophy :-)! Add a short distance race to encourage family (Father & daughter / Mother & son team) participation, particularly as the post-race Prize Giving could become a Wadi Adventure fixture? ”

Love the hill climb although I wish the flat section was shorter like the last race. Finishing in Wadi Adventure and having access to the park (we stayed all day!) was the icing on the cake. Can you consider perhaps age categories??? As 18 - 70 year old categories leaves things a bit one sided don't you think????
