“great location for run away from the Summer heat - I think it is an event that should be repeated as I enjoyed the novelty of running round the shopping mall in the AC away from the blistering heat outside. There were issues with the timing, but I know that this is a new set of kit so I am sure will improve with time. Price was excellent. It would be even better if we could loop around Ferrari World as well. Thanks to the volunteers & marshals. Probably should start at 8am next time so that there is not so much of a rush at the end. ”

“First one... second one will be better - It was a brilliant idea with a technical course that required some skill and strength in the hair pins to catch up the speed. But mainly it was awesome to run in temperature controlled area during the UAE summer. thanks for this. Now, a lot needs to be improved. nice marshal cheerings, but forgetting to show the way properly (one nearly made me fall down to make sure i was going the right way), timing has been a real mess and too much impro by organization...You have used us to much better ;o)”

“Great run inside a mall - Fanatstic idea to have an indoor run avoiding high outside temperatures and humidity. Initially I thought it might be boring to run along the shops but I really enjoyed it. Only thing to complain is the timing; there were too many mistakes. With the Premier Timing chip this never happened and participants received a SMS with the finish time within minutes after the race. The finisher list was several times revised.”

“A "cool" run in May - As an avid race runner, I feel sad that as we head into the summer, running races are harder and harder to come by. That is why I was so happy to have found an indoor 10 km race! Who knew? I think Dubai should follow suit and have more races organized in malls during the summer. That way, avid race runners like me can run all year round! It would be great to have a 10km race in The Dubai Mall. Or why not a half marathon? The Yas Mall race was very well organized. Kudos to all! Full marks!”

“Great value for AED50! - The results for the 10km were a little slow to come through, but I believe this a new timing system, so a few teething problems. My time was exactly as expected. Only concern I have is the course was slightly wet on one corner where somebody had spilt some water and on the polished floor it was extremely slippy and I was lucky not to fall. All in all, a great morning out and fantastic value for money. Well done team!”

“Could have been organized better - The event was great. Start line was a bit of a mess, microphone/Speakers weren't clear enough to know what's happening. Timing and Results were a bit late. As compared to other outdoor events, NO PICTURES! It would have been nice to have those pics, especially with family.”

“Awesome Run - I loved it. Thank you Abu Dhabi Sports Council for this event. We hope there are more to come. Everything was perfect except for our timings being messed up. The 10km Female Open category awards were given to the wrong people. The real winners (1st & 3rd Place) managed to get their medals but the results posted online are still wrong. I hope this can be fixed as timings are quite significant to the participants. ”
