“Easy track for my first 4km - A nice event, however I had to almost stop at one point to pass between 2 trucks and hope the drivers saw me. I also nearly moved into a van that was driving along side me and due to listening to music as I ran, I wasn't aware it was there. Whilst waiting for friends finishing in the 12km race, 3 DHL vans sped past so fast there was no chance for a person to survive had they been hit. The track was also over 4km, which pushed my limits as a first timer. I am however, signing up for the next!”

“Some suggestions... - This was a good race to get back into the running groove. However, I do have some suggestions. The course was somewhat dangerous given the construction vehicles everywhere - as an adult it is manageable but not so much for children. I also didn't appreciate inhaling truck fumes. I would also suggest having a separate running lane or a separate start time for children (perhaps start at 6:30) given that some would just stop mid-run thus interfering with other runner's pacing. ”

“Could do with more improvement! - It was a fairly organized event. Trucks on the course was a major distraction!! The route was a little dull for a race. Hopefully there will be a different route next time. Medals could also use some modification. And there were no photos taken! All the other organizing like registration process and bib collection was ok.”

“Well organised, terrible course - The event was well organised and communicated effectively, organisers did a great job. However, the course was a side road of Meydan with construction trucks driving on it, cars trying to cross and rubbish and dirt on it. ”

“A run with lots of heavy Vehicles - The Race had 3 laps and it became boring as hell for me to do the 3rd lap as motivated as the first 2. There was a lot of trucks and vehicles and buses around with their engines on and there was a lot of smoke around that area. Too polluted it felt and also it was sandy track therefore the sand flying right to ur face. My breathing was heavily restricted due to this. By the start of the 3rd lap i felt like cheating and ending the race as the finish line was right next to me.”

Event Location is not Provided properly, hence please provide the information properly for the future events. ”

“Good to do but a poor course - Not a good course to run - I had to slow down as a bus pulled out in front of me, there were cars and trucks going along the road, there was a bad smell. The 8km route also was longer the 8km (it was actually around 8.33km). I wouldn't recommend it to people for these reasons.”

“Construction trucks all over the race - Also Bananas run out once I finished the 12k race Traffic from nearby constructions sites passing by the runners all the time The announced draw of '1 weekend pack ' was not given to anyone.... ”

“Friendly run with room for improvements - So far no photo service, might still come? Track not so good as you had to share the road with heavy vehicales. The goodie bag was actually just a bag without anything in it. ”

“(+) Well organised, (-) Race course - It was a great experience. Race was well organised and timed. Could do something better with the medal and give-aways. Please do something with the race course. I had a truck blocking my way during the course and the dust due to the construction work was unacceptable. ”

“Nice run and pleased to see a big turn out - A very friendly atmosphere for a Friday morning run. Would have been nice to run 8K and not 8.5K when trying to better yourseld from one race to the next,”

“Rating of the meydan race - It was very unorganized. No proper tracking references. No one to guide. No proper starting line. In addition the area was so polluted we were all b bothered from the trucks and gasoline smell It would be nice to not have them work on that day.”

“Traffic a concern now!!!! - A BIG THANK YOU to the event organisors and the many volunteers who help to make this an enjoyable event. Having run this event on a many occasions - for sure the traffic is becoming more of a hazard - in terms of safety and also health with the fumes. It is a "no frills - no fuss event" but the venue is becoming less attractive as a safe enjoyable running location. Thanks. ”

“Enjoyable event - Enjoyable and friendly event. However the course should be traffic free for all runners, several cars and construction truck were zooming around while we run and it was extremely dangerous as the truck was carrying full of sand and literally moving right behind runners. Medal should have date/month/year of the event. Fruits at the finish line would be good. Asics T-shirt for finishers would be lovely.”

“What no banana's - Banana's.. seen a lot a start of race...but when finished (less than 1 hour all banana's gone to people who ran shorter distances...need to keep some back for 12km runners who need them the most...Medals would be better with plastic disc insert instead of paper sticker....race distance also seems longer than 12km? please advise... overall a very good, well organised event... no photo's as yet for rating”

“Friendly event. Watch the traffic. - Event was easy to get to. Friendly organizers. The construction traffic on the the route was a hazard. Giving fruit away at the end was a nice touch. No need to give out the empty goody bags.”

“Committed give away not given - We have been promised to give a T-shirt which we didn't receive for which we have given our size's for the same.”

“Beautiful morning but race chips not working - I arrived a bit late as some of the roads were closed. I started 15 minutes after everyone else but it shows on the results page that I started at 07:05 (I was still in the car at that time!) Also, the lap is 4.3k long so whoever ran the 8k finished 8.6 and the 12k is 12.9. this is a disappointment since it is a huge difference for athletes who like accurate timing and distances. Otherwise, it was a well put together event at a great venue. thank you for the empty totes :)”

“Dangerous lorries, more than 8k, no timing - Fairly dangerous (I know this isn't Super Sports fault, as the roads were supposed to be closed, but marshals should have been positioned to challenge the construction workers). Lorries driving alongside runners, including small children. Route was 8.3k not 8k (difficult to get 100% accurate). My timing chip didn't work, so I have no official time, but there was someone at the finish line watching as people finished, it shouldn't be too difficult to check time. Overall not hugely impressed.”

“Pity about the construction vehicles - Everything was great except for the construction vehicles and all their pollution ”

“Short race in which I'm interested in right now. - Hm,,the fumes from the construction was not good at all. It made it hard to breathe. However, the short distance was what I'm interested in and it's great because it is timed. I now can start setting goals to improve and work my way to a 5km. thanks, I know its a lot of hard work.”

“Great - Overall really fun and we had a great time, will definitely join again and encourage my kids to join also. Signage exit from parking needs to improve as some participants blocked the way. ”

“Enjoyable event, thank you. - Enjoyed the event as usual, thank you Warren and the team for organising it. Just the usual issue of traffic on the course, I did notice some runners were affected by this. Plus I missed the turn off due to exit closures and ended up being about 20 minutes later than I intended (and collected a speeding ticket in the process :-() Other than that, looking forward to the next one.”

“Not sure where my 150dhs went but an ok experience - Great team re. Medals, timing chips etc but issues of pre race organisation need addressing especially as we actually ran 8.3km not 8km.”

“Good race some attention to detail needed - The road in seemed to be closed so had to detour, no sign for parking, bib collection excellent, hard to find safety pins, toilets had no loo paper-terrible, most people seemed to think the 8k course was 8.3k, could do with more chairs to chill on after the event, banana and water bottle at finish spot on, overall well organised and having the clock at the finish was good. overall well run and organised, a pleasure, well done guys, thanks, whens the next one!”

“OK event, construction trucks a bother - Why were there construction trucks n cement mixers moving on the course. With headsets how can we possibly hear these guys come from behind. Otherwise was ok. ”
