“12k a great addition to the series - The roadworks on the course make certain areas very stony...needed to make sure I missed them and not turn my ankle. Medal as always for this event is disappointing in comparison to other events. Otherwise, well organised and fun. Well done to Warren and his team.”

“Really enjoyed the run in another country. - I am from South Africa and participate in marathon runs in my country. I really enjoyed running in another country.”

“An average training event - The choice of track was not ideal. The road had potholes and unconfortamble. It was next to a construction site and at a time there was a botcat and a truck on the track that were emiting fumes. The distances were unusual, 4,8 and 12. I would prefer the usual 5k or 10k. Overall, it was good organisation. ”

“Well Organized event, boring track - The event process from registration, parking to the finish line were very well organized, Kudos to the team responsible. The track however was boring (3) laps on a straight paved road, the Km marker signage could have better marked (seperate marks for 4, 8 and 12 km based on each color)”

“Ok event except lap3 safety was bad - In lap3, there was construction trucks crossing and driving; then vans; then a BMW blocked the final turning. It was dangerous for me and other runners. The cutoff for the race is 1.30hrs, but the constructions trucks were on the track at 50mins. The marshalling team did nothing. ”

“Nice Race - Loved the race it was nice. Area for improvement the water stations to be more organised could have supplied bottles of water instead of glasses of water. Also no directions leading to the race. ”

“Good race with room for improvement! - The start line of the race is congested in parking entrance and does not look so good in the pictures. The start line picture is the only picture for the whole runners and it shall have a better view! One more point, when we reached the venue from the main roads there was no signage to guide to the race location, I saw some people confused at the intersection and wondering which exit to take. Luckily I took the right exit, otherwise I would have missed the race!”

“Very uninspiring, monotonous course - This would have been a great event but running along a 2kms tarmac stretch in the middle of a construction site is as uninspiring as it gets. I thought this event would use some of the setup at Meydan! My Friday run around where I live is more interesting and scenic than this was. Terrible value for money in terms of the event itself, although the organisation was excellent. ”

“It is motivating. - It was my great pleasure and enjyed the race very much. the location of meydan was bit cofused even after using the GPRS. It was great and fun.”

“It's almost a scam - The worst things are 1- the course ( in the middle of road works ) 2-the Medal ( v cheap _ 3- they take back the bib 4- the give aways are horrible ”

“A well organised race! - I love that you get a medal. Maybe add to the information about the event that there are no lockers but a patio with security guards over looking the belongings. Would like a 10 K distance as well. A plus for the organisation of the race!”

“One or three turning points? - In the pre-race info there is shown 3 different turning points for 4, 8 and 12k races, however in the race there is only one common turning point. ”
