“Well run and organised - Safe closed roads, well marshalled, nice casual environment.”

“Needs a little refinement. - Please ensure that transition is kept clear for all classes of participants, too many non race goers in and around transition making it hazardous for all concerned. Also , come on guys with the t-shirts, put a little effort into at least naming the event and month on them, many of us like to collect these as a memento, if we need a plain simple training top then we will buy one instead of paying high entrance fees to cover these costs. Rant over, good event that just needs a little refinement ”

“Good event to start your TRI journey - Overall the race is well organised, except support station. Last time it was extremely hot and water containers which were available at the stations were too small (100 ml), it should have been 500 ml water bottles instead. In this heat people need to drink more and also pour some water over them to cool down!! There should be also water fountain after leaving the swim, water in this reservoir is extremely salty.”

“Great - Well organized and very enjoyable. Race pack pre-collection a bit remote, but I understand the importance of sponsors, no issue with that. Collection on the day was simple. Great course, safe and easy to follow. Thanks to the marshals and volunteers- great job.”

“Pleasant event & nice venue. - Maybe include a 60+ category? Why not have all the prize givings at one time? Miss the announcement when one finishes. Finishing the event is still a big achievement and miss the commentary. Overall a good event. Well done.”

“PLEASANT TRI TO BE IMPROVED WITH SPONSORS - It was my 1st Tri in Mamzar. Great experience, the location is really nice and pleasant. The race was safely organized and well prepared. To be improved for the next year : - Start time should be earlier : at 6:00 am or 6:30, but not later (it is still to hot) - Need more Aid station during the run, 2 is not enough - Sweet beverage is mandatory (Coca for example) Overall, it is a good local Triathlon I recommand to prepare tougher Triathlon and the season.”

“Room for improvement - Pros: Calm waters, decent event giveaways, good course. Cant complain about the weather. It is not under the organizers control. Participants know in advance that this is Dubai and what heat levels should be expected. Cons: No water supply on cycling courses, course cutters and cheaters cutting loops were let through. Medal can b improved.”

“Good but room for improvements - For the first race of the season, should definitely start earlier as the weather is still very hot. Communication is SM is a bit messy, emails coming from different sources. But overall very good and appreciative of the efforts!! ”

“Event was good but wish we start early, it washot - The U-turn after we take roundabout left, before the roundabout at end is really small and dangrouse extend it to the roundabout so we take full turn instead of U term, sorry didn’t feel like safe to me ”
