Event is quite pricey for someone looking to do their first one, and could also be quite a annual cost as i would love to do more through out the season.”

“Very nice small family event to enjoy - It is good as it is, no need to change much. Maybe, cycle/running can tracks can be extended to have 2 rounds for bike, and one for running. Somehow, atmosphere is relaxed and I have enjoyed every moment of the race. ”

“A good morning out, I enjoyed it - I was very pleased the event committee allowed me to reduce my distance on the day. This kind of flexibility to assist an individual, shows the event is run for the competitor and not for the organiser Event givaways were sadly lacking. Why can other events like the creek striders half give so much for their entry fee yet, events like this and the 92 give so little? Some kind of apparel, like a event shirt which could be worn with pride would be good.”

“ Possibily poisioned water and battered to bits - A sign saying "no swimming" had been hidden and there were trenches on the beach... this normally means sewage... I got violently ill whilst swimming the course. My son and training partner both got ill after (him much more than her and he is the one who would have swallowed more water). Cuts on my leg I'd expect to feel better due to salt water felt worse after and got infected. The swim timings meant I was always being overtaken and beaten up by the next wave. Never happened befo”

“Improvements - The results are difficult to read.Race 1you separated on gender and you could see individual race times for swim bike run separate without having to go in to every single person to see a swim time for example. Unfair with prize giving and points with an age group winner getting more points and prize money than no 2 and 3 overall when they have performed better”

“Nice location and great family event! - Great event for the whole family of all ages (multiple distances available). Nice track, medal and organization! One recommendation would be to start the race in the reverse order (if possible), Olympic distance first as it is usually the longest to complete and it gets quite sunny and hot for the final run leg. Timing and results very detailed and prompt! Any photo finishes available? Keep up the great work!”

For its communication you had the rely on the microphone announcements. “Good safe event, but quite busy - Good event, the swimcourse was much deeper this time (probably due to tide) which was much to shallow previously. Great improvement. It was busy though, but the organisation split the distances into a Male and Female wave to try to thin the field out a bit, but due to the permanant bouy line it is still a bit of a crush at the first bouy. Bike and run course were fine though, nice and wide closed streets. Run had some people walking over the course, but no big hinderance. Good Event!”
