Race Pack Collect – Race pack collection will take place on the morning of the event
Please always adhere to strict social distancing rules when in or around the race village
Your race number and timing chip collection are close to the start line as per the Race Day Schedule.
• Race numbers will be sent to you via SMS the night before the race, please know your bib number before you arrive at the race pack collection desk
• You must have checked in and received your timing chip 30 minutes before your race started.

No there will be no bag drop at the event.

There will be water stations in the race village and out on the course.
Please note - water stations will be self service and teams will not be allowed to feed outside of the designated zones. Any participants found doing so will automatically be disqualified.

The cut off time for the event is 12 pm allowing 4 hours for 90KM and 3 and 50 minutes for the 68KM participants. Please keep this in mind when registering for your event.

At the completion of the event participants can collect a finishers' medal from the table in exchange of your timing chip and avail of the self-service water and then please make your way away from the event start/finish area and please continue to be aware of social distancing guidelines. We ask that everyone refrain from any hugging, high fives or handshakes - elbow and foot shakes are acceptable - we still want you to have fun! Race organizers have been working diligently to develop adjustments that encourage a safe and fair event while promoting physical distancing in every aspect of the event. Athletes should abide by the directives of the race director, event staff, volunteers, and the Al Ain Cycling Track security.

Please thank the volunteers as they are volunteering their own time to help you enjoy your race and get you home safely to your families. Please also respect the host community as we are guests and please adhere to best practices to help protect others. You MUST wear an appropriate mask whilst moving in and around the venue prior to the start of your run. Whilst running in your race you may remove your mask but please remember to maintain the noted distance between runners and allow adequate spacing when passing other runners. Bag Drop - There will be NO bag drop onsite.

• Timing chip is attached to a velcro strap and to be worn on your LEFT ankle and please RETURN after the race.
• IF YOU RACE WITH NO CHIP – YOU WILL RECEIVE NO TIME AND NO RESULT!
RACE BIBS
• Bibs must be worn along the midline of your back or slightly to the right on your back so officials can easily identify you.
• Safety pins are in the envelope or use a race belt.

Bike direction will follow the normal traffic direction
• All participants shall wear a protective helmet, undamaged and unaltered, which meets or exceeds the safety standards of the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC).
• The helmet must be fastened before the participant first mounts the bicycle; at all times when the participant is on the bicycle and must not be unfastened until the participant has dismounted.
• Triathlon time trial bikes are NOT ALLOWED or BIKES WITH AERO BARS.
• No tandems, recumbent and fairings, or any add-on devices designed exclusively to reduce resistance are allowed.
• Solid disc wheels are allowed.
• Any new, ‘unusual’, or prototype equipment will be subject to a determination of legality by the Chief Race Referee.
• Athletes must be individually responsible for the repair and maintenance of their own bikes. Assistance by anyone other than technical support officials will be grounds for disqualification. Cyclists should be prepared for any malfunction
