This is the second edition of the 4-day Cross Country Marathon (XCM) Stage Race is a cultural and historical journey through time that cannot be experienced anywhere else on earth.

The terrain, change in climate from one stage to the next, and the historical sites along the route make this one of the most unique races on earth.

It is an individual race format across jeep tracks, through old villages, over challenging climbs, and across breathtaking scenery.

The Arabian Epic Team have invested a lot of time to make this a once-in-a-lifetime experience and find routes that can challenge every rider. With approximately 200km riding and over 5,000m of climbing, this race offers each participant an adventure through time and self discovery.

After a tough and enlightening day in the saddle, you will arrive back to amazing Arabian Hospitality and full use of the hotel facilities. At the end of Stage 2, you can enjoy a mud bath and swim (float) in the Dead Sea, refreshments and great camaraderie.

• Where will I collect my Rider Pack?

  Participant Registration is open from 10am - 5pm on Wednesday 12th February 2020. Rider Packs will be distributed at the Event Hotel in Amman.

• Race Village Amenities:

  Race Villages are located in the remote areas (Race Village for Stage 2 will be in Holiday Inn Dead Sea Resort). The Race Village will contain everything needed after each day in the saddle. It will offer full services for you and your bike so that you can recover easily before relaxing and socialising with fellow riders.
  
  On arrival you will be able to avail of bike mechanic services, clean you bike in the bike wash area and securely store your bike - medical services will be available if required. After you have finished utilising the available services at the Race Village, you will be transported to check-in to the Hotel and get set up for the night.
  
  Once you are refreshed you will be able to make use of the hotel facilities, where you can kick back and relax with friends and fellow riders to reflect on your day in the saddle and share your experiences. You can also get a massage (must be pre-booked), check the live race results and ask about any information you need to know.

• Participant Requirements:

  MEDICALLY FIT
  The 4-day stage race is a challenging endurance event open to elite and amateur cyclists of all disciplines. The routes feature various distances, terrain and includes a lot of climbing. It is the responsibility of the participant to arrive with a necessary level of fitness and stamina to compete.
  All entrants will sign a waiver upon registration.
  
  ELIGIBLE AGE
  The minimum age to compete is set at 18 years old on or before the first day of the race.
  
  MINIMUM MANDATORY GEAR
  This list contains the absolute minimum requirements in order to stay safe in this environment and must be suitable to you. They must be carried on each stage of the race.
  
  A Helmet

  GPS Navigation Device - GPX files to be loaded onto device for bike check on race morning.
