The SPINNEYS Family Run is back for the 2024-25 season. Since 2020 these family runs have been hosted in numerous communities throughout the UAE. It is a fantastic way to get friends and family started on their fitness journey as it is one of the most inclusive events out there. It doesn't matter if you are a casual or advanced runner the SPINNEYS Family Run provides a encouraging environment to help push you to meet your fitness goals and as an added bonus it is great start for a family day out.

At all Spinneys runs you will receive a T-shirt, Finisher Medal and a snack once you have completed your chosen distance. Downloadable finishers certificate are also available so start your fitness journey now with the people you love! Eat well, Live well with Spinneys.

• When is Check In and run number collection?

  Check In is done on the morning of the race 6:45am.
  
  Run numbers will be emailed to all runners 48 hours before the event and run numbers will also be on show at the Check In area on the morning of the race. Once you know your run number, proceed directly to your respective Bib collection desk and collect your run number as well as your Spinneys T-shirt.

• Where do I collect my shirt?

  You can collect your shirt when Checking In on run day.

• What are the distances?

  • 2.2km
  • 4.4km

• What is the Run Day Program?

  Be checked in at least 20 - 30 minutes before the start of the run.
  06h30 – Run Check In Opens
  07h20 – Run Check In Closes for all distances
  07h25 – Run Briefing
  07h30 – Run Starts
  08h30 – Run Finishes / Collect Snack / Depart Venue

  Yes, in and around the start area.

• What is the level of difficulty of the course?

  Flat and easy

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  There will be one water station out on course.
  All participant will also receive a snack and water once they have completed the run.

• Where can I find the Run Photos?

  These will be available on Facebook: Spinneys Family Run and be posted 48 hours after they have been checked and edited. Individual photos are not guaranteed.

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  Further information regarding the Spinneys Family Fun Run (Run Briefing, Run Course etc.) can be found in the Event Downloads section of this page, so ensure you have a clear understanding of the rules and regulations as well as what the course will look like / entail.

• Why have I not received any run emails from the event organizer?

  Race emails are sent during the week of the event. Make sure to register with the correct email ID so that you receive these emails.
  
  Please note company email ID’s are often blocked by the company service provider. If you do not receive these emails, please check your spam, junk or promotions folder and mark us as ‘not spam’ to ensure that you receive future race information emails from us. If you still have any trouble with this, please contact us on [email protected].
  
  1st race email will be sent on the Monday, before the event, at 2pm.
  2nd race email with race number & all race info will be sent on the Thursday, before the event, before 5pm.
  3rd race email with race results and photo links will be sent on the Saturday - race day, before 8pm.

• Refunds/Cancellations

  Once entries close or the event is sold out, no refunds are possible for whatever reason which includes and is not limited to: change in personal circumstances, sickness, travel restrictions, or any circumstances may prevent you from participating in the event.
  Unclaimed run packs including shirt, medal, and snack will be forfeited in full after the start of a respective distance.
