Expo 2020 Dubai invite members of the community to celebrate the icons and changemakers of Women’s Sport on International Women’s Day 2022.
Be part of a giant mural with 1500 people that uses cards, banners and flags to create stunning imagery and a beautiful lasting image of the occasion.
All participants will be offered a free entry ticket to Expo 2020 Dubai for the day of the event, an event T-Shirt and a breakfast snack as well as special commemorative photos that will be taken of the montage.
Participants must be prepared to arrive at Expo 2020 between 07:15 and 07:45hrs with participation in the filming and photography expected to be no more than 45 minutes in duration.

• Do I need to be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 Vaccine to participate?

  Visitors aged 18 years and above will be required to present proof of any vaccine recognized by their national government or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

• Do I need to purchase a Dubai Expo entry ticket for this event?

  Those who have registered to take part should enter via the Mobility Gate. In front of the gates please show your registration to the reception desk who will allocate you your free entry ticket that is valid throughout the 8th March 2022.

• How do I get to the venue?

  Multiple options are available and include Metro, Taxi or Drive. Plan your visit to Expo.
  
  If arriving via Metro - please use the Expo 2020 People Mover and move through to Jubilee Park adjacent to Expo Sports Arena by bus.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  • Participants are required to wear masks whilst participating in the creation of the mural.
  • Staff will wear masks for the entire duration of the event and sanitize regularly.
  • Several sanitize stations are in the vicinity of the event venue.
  • If you feel unwell on the morning of the event with flu-like symptoms, please stay at home!

• Any additional information participants should know about?

  Follow the direction of ushers and event staff when you arrive at the venue.
  Staff will guide you into position and offer easy to follow instructions.
  By participating in this activation, you are consenting to allowing photography and videography of yourself to be used at the discretion of Expo 2020 Dubai.

• Where can I find the event photos?

  Photos will be available 72 hours after the event has finished and can be found on Facebook International Women's Day - Mural Participation. Help your friends find their photos by tagging, sharing, and liking them.
