An accessible and exciting event for all levels of fitness. A fun day out for families!

The Activity Village will have various activities for children aged 8-14 to complete. Each child will need to complete 9 activities and the Fun Run to receive their medal.

When will we receive our race packs?

Race pack collection will be on race day.
What age does my child have to be to enter?

Any child between 5 and 13 can enter the race. Age group categories: Under 8s Under 11s Under 14s
Is the race just for children?

During the Fun Run you can join your child and run with them – you can run with your child if they are in the Under 8 category.
What is the Activity Village?

The Mini Dash is not just about the run. We also have an interactive Activity Village to keep the whole family engaged and having fun! Competitors and family members can join activities in the village where you can experience different sports and fitness activities as well as health and nutrition education. There will be a main stage where we have a schedule of events taking place throughout the day. There will also be healthy food and drink available to purchase onsite.
What should my child wear?

Please ensure your child wears comfortable active/sports wear i.e. trainers, leggings or shorts and a t-shirt.
What time should the children who are participating arrive?

Registration begins at 8am.
Will there be parking?

Yes, there will be parking available at the venue.
Who will receive the prizes?

There will be a small gift at each activation in the Activity Village. Once children have completed 10 activities (one being the Fun Run), they will receive a medal. Please note, however, only children that have registered and paid for the Mini Dash (including the Fun Run) receive gifts and a medal.
Can we bring our friends and family to support?

If you have colleagues, friends or children who would like to celebrate with you and join in the activities in the village, please encourage them to come along.
Who gets a medal?

Every child who participates will receive a medal upon completion of 10 activities (one of which must be the Fun Run).
