The event Swim for Clean Seas is an awareness project whilst giving swimmers an opportunity for a social but competitive open water swim.

Prior to the start of the 1 Mile swim there will be a introduction to Clean Seas from the team at Sea Shepherd.

Then for the kids large and small, Arabella Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi’s resident marine biologist and head of conservation will chat about the island’s incredible wildlife and find out about her work studying and protecting the critically endangered hawksbill turtles which nest on the beach. Following this, Arabella will then lead a walk along the shore to hunt for shells and seaweeds, teaching the kids how to identify the signs of life that they come across.

The 1Mile swim will start at 7:30am with the 1/2 mile to start once the milers have started the 2nd lap of the course.

The 1/4 Mile will start at 8:15am approx and the 200 meter Kids swim will start at 8:30am once the kids discovery session is over.
