A criterium is a multi-lap race over a fixed period of time, 50 minutes for these races, followed by 2 extra laps. After 50 minutes anyone who has been lapped is pulled from the course. The remainder contest over the final 2 laps to determine winners. Juniors race 25 minutes plus 1 laps.
Each day there will 3 races, one each for Experts, Novices, and Youths. If more than 50 people enter one of these categories then a 4th race may be added for safety reasons.
Please note that to enter the Expert category, open to male & female, you must hold a current UCI licence. Individual cases may be considered on an ad hoc basis.
