Only thing I was disappointed about was getting very ill after the BBQ buffet, as did a couple of other members of my family. Not sure what caused it, not all of us got sick. “A fun family-oriented event; Loved the sand run! - Really enjoyed that family-oriented aspect as the kids get to participate and get jazzed with their families. Very much enjoyed the BBQ afterward... a nice social setting thats often lacking in the run scene. Well done to the organizers! Suggestion: 1) The kid cutoff was 9 yrs, but the next option (5k) is a bit too long for older kids (<15). Perhaps consider a 1k and 3k kid option. 2) Bins: put ~100 m past aid station to allow drink & drop. A tough sand course - which we all loved! Thanks!”
