“Nice course for all levels - A great event set in a superb location. I think the distances made it do-able for both beginners and more experienced triathletes. The course was both varied and safe, clearly marked and well organized. I'd do it again for sure if I lived in Dubai! ”

“Danger of cars - I understand that it is really out of your control but i was nearly hit by a car. Not sure what you can do but i strongly believe something has to be done to prevent any participants being hit by maniacs who have absolutely no idea how to drive within close proximity to cyclists. A new traffic mgt strategy is required to ensure the safety of participants ”

“Great Race again. lots of fun!! - More control of wave starts, maybe more caps needed and color code by wave. Also need a horn for starts as never heard the shout to GO and everyone stood in limbo. Some timing questionable as athletes finishing behind others turned up ahead of people on the overall final rankings? Which was probably a result of the waves starts not being adhered to. Still a great event and well put on! love the run course. Cant wait for the one!! ”

“Well organized, fun event - My first triathlon (but third event at Jebel Ali) and I really enjoyed this course, particularly because it's close enough to make the trip from Abu Dhabi not too painful at that time of morning. The swim felt very claustrophobic, especially being a fairly slow swimmer in the super sprint and having the faster sprint swimmers crashing through. Bike & run courses were great and the marshalls were excellent. For the second time now (out of three events), my timings somehow got misplaced or mistaken, which is a bit disappointing. It would've been a huge buzz to have been on the podium to receive the first place in my category - not something I ever expected to do! ”

“Good Tri with a few registration problems ;) - Overall v good. A few problems at the beginning with registration - I assume there's a good reason why we can't pick up packs beforehand (eg adv hq). Only niggle was that the marshalling / signing at the bike / run transition was poor. Good course tho and glad the beach run has been dropped! Well done to the team. ”

“Race ME : you get better and stronger every time - Overall an excellent and well organised event. Great running commentary by Venny throughout. This event has got better each time...Only comments to improve further would be: 1. Control entry to the beach start section. There were people in wave 2 that went in wave 1 and I am sure vice a versa. As there were no timing mats at the start I don't know how this would be calculated. 2. Possibly a few distance marker boards on the run. But I did think the new course was easier to navigate and not as confusing... 3. A reminder board on the bike to indicate how many loops it is for each distance. 4. A Sticker or something on the medal to indicate the event and date would be another nice touch. Volunteers were fantastic with Marshalls doing a great job. The guy at the finish shoot was brilliant telling approachers in adequate time were to go. This has gone from strength to strength and utmost respect for those who have been behind the scenes to make this events ( in my opinion) one of the best available locally. Would be good to have an Olympic version in the future in the same location but modified so it was not a multiple of loops. And finally for the German perfectionists in RACE ME...if you really want to go for attention to detail please fill in all the gaps in the brick interlock on the bike course!!!!! :-) Awesome job team RACE ME..... Hard to beat and find fault... Thanks very much.”
