“A very nice race, with good ovelalla arrangements - Some confusion with the results. I was declared as the winner for M50-54 category after the race. In the result list in FB, however, there's 2 people with better times than mine listed in M50-54? ”

“Standards are slipping - I love this series and have participated in it since its inception, but the start/finish organisation really needs some work - not having a start/finish line is really poor! All it takes is some gaffer tape or a permanent marker! Also, what happend to the timing tags? Hand timing is OK, and at least the results were posted this time which is great, and quickly which was appreciated. Would have been good if they could have been emailed too though as not everyone is on Facebook. I really enjoy this race and hope it continues, just a little more organisation could make it really good.”

“Nice grass roots feel - I enjoy the grass roots feel and atmosphere of this race and the slitghtly chaotic feel to how the whole event is put on. At 85dirham it does represent great value for money. The course is a little boring but it's only 10km so for a run out I'm ok with this. One thing that did annoy me in this race was them allowing a non participant to run in the race. He ran at the front and I think actually won. As someone racing near the front (I thought I was racing for fourth position but in fact it was third) this did have a phychological impact, if I'd known third was a possibilit I would have dug a bit deeper. Not saying I would have got third but would certainly have given it more of a go. I was really annoyed when I found out later that the guy in the lead wasn't even entered. This is poor form from the organisers I thought. Otherwise all was good fun”

“Great event - This time round the DDR was well organized. The results and pictures appeared promptly. Very commendable. Great atmosphere, lovely people. Wish the route was not so boring. Otherwise thumbs up. Hope it always stays that way.”

“A great little race in the desert!! - A great route for a pb. A little windy today which played havoc with the tape indicating the route, but the race was led by a car for the first lap so no problems there. The start was a little confusing for some, but the race director made sure that everyone was in the right place. A good venue, with a nice family atmosphere and good facilities.”
