“Great Race All Around - Hi, I have competed in many triathlons around the world and considering the small team who run the event is was very well executed in comparison to others. Online entry was fantastic, course maps+downloads where great (I heard a few people saying they weren't sure on course, seriously guys, read the race pack the day before and it's as simple as ABC). On the day the course was great and easy to navigate. Minor negative was people were allowed into transition before all runners out,bit dangerous!”

“Perfect weather - Swimming area rope would have been nice to remove temp for race. Timing and placing breakdown of each stage would be great and helpful to work on weaker disciplines.”

“Nice first time Olympic for me!! - As I said many time (via online feedback), I personally don't care about the medal. I'd exchange it with useful stuff like energy bars, gels, sport sun cream, a cap, a t-shirt, whatever. 300aed is not pocket money and I don't think that the organisation of the event fully justifies this price (considering that there are sponsors!). Also, I'd like to find the intermediary timings since there were sensors out of transition zone, but only overall timing was released. All in all, great location and great organisation! ”

“Perfect starter for completing a triathlon - Good attempt to avoid cuts on buoy ropes on the the swim section....still got cut though! Flat course and safe, well organised. Perfect starter for racing”

“It was a great event overall - It was a great event, nicely wrapped up by the organizers. However I found it unnecessary to start sooo early. I had to wake 4 am to make it there on time from Abu Dhabi. The water and the surrounding sand was freezing cold. I think 08:00 start would have been much better. ”

“A Great Friday Morning - Areas for improvement: - General organization and direction / signage before the race begins (Maybe a new megaphone?) - Race package pickup could be more central - The Dubai mall is very far for me. I know that there are other people who live very near the Dubai mall, but maybe multiple pickup locations? - I thought I had read that there would be transition times and split times, however it doesn't look like there are. Not sure why, there were gates at every stage of the race.”

“Rope cut - Cut badly cut on the rope on the way back in. Not sure how this can be resolved. Maybe make a rule that noone is allowed to touch the rope or even better try and have some sections of the rope removed... ”

“Nice setting, organization could be better - Poor bike sacing in trasition. Swim couse could use extra bouys . I am 60, unfair to match my age gruop wit 50 yo... come on!. Age groups should be in 5 y intervals. Never got my T shirt.”

“A great, well organized race - There needs to chip sensors at the end of the run section to ensure proper distances are done. Number 181 for example cheated and cut the run short. Apart from that, a great, fun and friendly race. Would happily do it again. Mark”

“Excellent Race! - Starting on the other side of the rope worked really well. Bike and run course great. One small thing - the turn around point for lap two (next to the finish) just said 'keep left' instead of 'turn here'. Probably only did an extra 40m or so overall, but mentally was tough to know I'd gone past the turning point!! All good though.”

“Improved event with better overall organisation - Race brief and start was on time. Swim was improved and easy to navigate under the rope. Weather was great :-) Marshalling was confident and the guys at the water stations did an excellent job keeping on top of it, even during busy spots. Well done for taking on feedback from the last event to make further improvements and make this event so enjoyable. Thanks.”

“ it was a great event but results up quicker plz - The Event was absolutely brilliant with a great course. Having to make 2 accounts for super sports and premier online was a bit annoying but it was still easy and quite quick to sign up. The emails before the event were great and clear. However, after the race people want to know what their time was and what position they came so results being up a bit quicker would be great. Obviously this would not stop me doing the event again so thankyou for putting on such a brilliant event i would rate the triathlon 9.5/10”

“Good solution to the swim. - T-shirts could be better quality and medals I would rather make a nice one or just leave it. Highlight for this race was the "new" swim course to avoid the barnacles, well done for that! Will be back for the next one!”
