• Do I need to be fully vaccinated with COVID-19 Vaccine to participate?

  Visitors aged 18 years and above will be required to present proof of any vaccine recognized by their national government or a negative PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours.

• Do parents, adults and spectators need to pay to come watch and support?

  Each runner will receive 2 x complimentary entry tickets to Expo which can be used by any of their family or supporters. Any extra supporters aged 18 – 59 years will need to purchase an Expo 2020 Dubai entry ticket to watch and support.

• How do I find my race number?

  Your Race Number will be sent to you via email from midday on Sunday, 14 November 2021.

• When and where is Race Pack Collection?

  VENUE: IBN BATTUTA MALL, Dubai - India Court Zone near the centre of the Mall
  DATE: Sunday, 14 November to Wednesday, 17 November 2021
  TIME: 4pm to 7.30pm daily

• Can I collect my race pack on the morning of the race

  No

• Can I collect a friends Race Pack on their behalf?

  Yes this is possible provided you show us a copy of their Emirates ID when collecting.

• What to do at Race Pack collection?

  • Bring your Emirates ID for verification purposes.
  • Make sure you know what your Race Number is before arriving. This would have been sent to you by SMS and email and will speed up the collection process for you.
  • Once you know your Race Number, proceed directly to your corresponding Race Number collection desk and collect your Race Pack.
  • Please check that all your data which is printed on the label of the Race Pack envelope is correct. This includes your Run Number, name, age category, gender, and distance, and in the event of there being any errors, please let our registration staff know so we can change it for you so that you have the correct result when finishing the race.

• What does the race pack include?

  • Race Pack includes the below:
  o 1 x labeled envelope
  o 1 x race bib/number with timing chip attached to the back of it
  o 4 x safety pins
  o 1 x official Race T-Shirt. We ask all participants to wear the Expo 2020 Run Official T-Shirt when you compete in the race.
  o 1 x emergency contact Tyvek wristband
  o 1 x bag drop tag

• How do I get to the race venue?

  Multiple options are available and include Metro, Taxi or Drive
  
  For those driving please follow signage to Expo 2020 and thereafter specifically to DEC Car Parking
  
  In addition, The RTA will be opening the Dubai Metro system from 05:00hrs on the morning of the race to the Expo 2020 Metro station.

• What are the Course Highlights?

  The course takes in many of the iconic buildings and architecture of Expo 2020.
  
  Highlights include Al Wasl, the three thematic pavilions, Jubilee Park, and many of the International Participant pavilions.
  
  Your entry to the race includes an entry pass to EXPO 2020 so why not stay on-site and enjoy everything Expo 2020 has to offer!

• What is the Race Day Program & Timings?

  Be at the race venue at least 30 minutes prior to the start of your race.

• What are the Distances & Age groups?

  Age Groups are calculated as per your age on race day. Male and Female categories for all age groups
  • 10km – male and female – Under 19 years, 19 – 29 years, 30 – 39 years, 40 – 49 years, 50 - 59 years, 60+ years
  • 5km – male and female – Under 13 years, 13 – 15 years, 16 – 18 years, 19 – 29 years, 30 – 39 years, 40 – 49 years, 50 - 59 years, 60+ years
  • 3km – male and female – 0 – 8 years, 9 – 12 years, 13 – 18 years, 19 years+

• What should I do with my Race Bib / Number?

  • Bibs must be worn on your upper body (chest) with the number facing outward.
  • Use the safety pins provided to attach the bib to your run shirt or use a race belt to attach the bib to the belt and wear it around your waist. Race belts will need to be purchased separately.
  • Bibs have to be worn before you start the race and only be removed once you finish the race.
  • Make sure your bib has a timing chip attached to the back of it and do not remove this chip till after you have finished the race.
  • Keep the bib as a souvenir!

• What should I do with my Timing Chip?

  Timing chips are attached to the back of your race bib.
  Ensure your bib has 1 timing chip stuck to the back and if not, please see Super Sports staff on the day to issue you with a new bib.
  DO NOT REMOVE THE CHIP FROM THE BIB. IF YOU RUN WITH NO CHIP – YOU WILL RECEIVE NO TIME AND NO RESULT!

• How easy/difficult is the course?

  Easy, perfect for first timers to advanced runners.

• What are the support stations and where are they placed?

  3 x Water Stations on the course every 1.5km as well as at the finish line.

• Are there any discounts available?

  No discounts are available for this race as participants will receive entry passes and race goodies to the value of AED200.

• Where can I find the Race Results?

  Please scan the QR codes in the Race Village to view your result once you have finished running. Full results will be on the Super Sports website as soon as possible at SuperSportsUAE.com – search for: Race Results.

• Where can I find the Race Photos?

  Photos can be found on your results page by clicking on the CAMERA icon and then doing a bib or selfie search. Photos will be available 72 hours after the race has finished. Individual photos are not included in the race fee nor guaranteed.

• How is this event handling Covid19 related concerns?

  • Participants to wear a mask before the start and once you finish the event (no need to wear a mask while participating).
  • Staff will wear masks for the entire duration of the event and sanitize regularly.
  • Self-social distancing of 2m at all times except when participating.
  • Self-service water stations out on course and at the finish line
  • Several sanitize stations in the race village and surrounding areas.
  • If you feel unwell on the morning of the event with flu-like symptoms, please stay at home!
