The Night Run is just for fun.
We aim to have chip timing, but there are no prizes and no losers – only winners. We will start at 10pm because people have told me that midnight is too late. There will be light refreshments afterwards and hopefully some random, spot prizes. We expect to be able to give you a nice t-shirt, and maybe even a medal.
We hope to start and finish at the warm up track between the Aspetar hospital and the Dome. The route will be roughly 5km long. It would be great if you could wear bright clothes and carry lights and glow-sticks (available from Daiso in Hyatt plaza). The route will be well lit and we will endeavour to have plenty of marshals out to support you.
Note that there are strictly no refunds or transfers, also there is a strict maximum limit of 400 runners. The minimum age is 16. There is no maximum age.
